Join our Mascot Miriel in our underwater classroom to brush up on your LGBTQIA+ awareness and knowledge. This isn't just a training for allies- during in person trainings, most people have said they learn something new about the community or themselves! We don't have a lot of space in society to talk about these topics, and Miriel's classroom is a safe place to learn and explore. Based on the Safe Zone Project training, this game examines prejudice, assumptions, and privilege in a cozy environment with reflective exercises, interactive worksheets, written experiences from past students, and calming mindfulness activities. 

Responsibilities

•  Manage Production and Project Management using Trello, focusing on team collaboration and input with highly flexible pipeline for two artists, a script editor, and programmer.

• Design game starting with 1 page design doc, including main mechanics, level design, base narrative, and art style.

• Adapt the open source Safe Zone Project training with updated information, from a group to individual setting, and edit to fit a visual novel container with additional interactive mechanics.

• Implement java script plug-ins and add all content in engine. 

• Create Digital Marketing visual assets and copy for Social, itch.io, and Company Site.

• Manage 2D art assets and implementation in engine, including sprite animation, tiled and non-tiled backgrounds.
